DID MANDALORIANS GET ALONG WITH LUKE SKYWALKER AND THE NEW JEDI ORDER IN LEGENDS?

That’s a great question. I did a bit of research and it seems that generally speaking, yes.

The Mandalorian Protectors were a group of Mandalorian super commandos who fought with the Separatists during the Clone Wars. However, after the Republic was destroyed, Palpatine’s Empirical forces invaded the Mandalorian system, mining it for resources and enslaving the people. Obviously, the Mandalorians were not pleased and felt like this was a betrayal.

The Protectors became insurgents, working to harass the Empire and save their people. It was during this time that their paths crossed with Princess Leia’s. They worked together to free slaves and destroy local enemy forces.

The Mandalorians coexisted with the Alliance of Free Planets / New Republic and were specifically hired to assist Luke Skywalker in defeating Lord Shadowspawn. The Mandalorian Protectors also fought in the Yuuzhan Vong War, as did Luke and his baby Jedi.
